Many of the Educational Technology classes are online and can be attended from the comfort of home.

The purpose of this program is to 1) increase the number of certified teachers who have advanced certification and degrees in technology and 2) to increase the effectiveness of mathematics, science and technology teachers in the Rio Grande Valley.
The Master Teacher Program. The program is designed to strengthen content knowledge and technology skills of experienced teachers by providing a program in which they can obtain their Master Technology Teacher (MTT) Certification and transition into a Master’s of Education

upon completion of the MTT program.
Master of Education Program. Designed to strengthen the content and knowledge skills of Master Technology Teachers by providing a program that enables them to obtain their Master’s of Education degree in Educational Technology. Participants must have their teacher certification in math, science or technology.

The Go! TECH MSTTPA program is proud to offer full scholarships to students who are interested in earning their Master Technology Teacher (MTT) Certification or both the MTT certification and a Master's in Educational Technology. This program will pay for tuition, fees, books and supplemental materials that will be needed to complete the program.
Eligibility for program
Certified teachers who are eligible for either program must have:
- a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience;
- be recommended by their district to participate in the program;
- participate in the Academy’s mentoring/induction program;
- commit to serving in the district for a minimum of two (2) years after receiving their Master Technology Teacher Certificate or their Master’s of Education degree.*
- agree to participate in all aspects of the Academy, including Learning Academy Seminars; Mentoring/Induction program elements; and Teaching Career Awareness Outreach Program for Middle and High School students.
The Learning Academy Seminar involves all Academy Participants and has a curriculum and structure designed to deepen and expand the instructional skills of Academy Participants.
The Teacher Career Awareness Outreach program for Middle and High School students involves selected Academy Participants and is designed to introduce young students to the profession of teaching, especially in mathematics, science and technology.
* This may be waived only if the teacher accepts another teaching position in a Texas public school district determined to be a high-need District;
